I personally dont want to install a random app from who knows that runs off of some guy's local machine. If you need more detailed reasons, then check out last weeks weekly discussion.

It would make searching for content much harder and would not stop the copyright holders from seeing what content was uploaded.

A better solution imo would be moving to an online forum that is not indexed on search engines, with its contents inaccessible to non-registered users.

If I could make a suggestion/request, it would be helpful if someone made a post explaining the best (and safest) way to upload content for others on the sub. I couldn't find any kind of tutorial/faq post anywhere when I looked, it could help encourage others to contribute too :)

If you're using RES you can ignore a user which hides their posts & comments.

How come transfers are so slow? My ETA is over 2 hours for 1.86 GB. (~200 KB/s). It wasn't like this before.
