I saw it in the theater today, in IMAX 3D. I'm normally not a huge fan of 3D but they did a great job. Unless it's 4K and/or 3d, I probably wouldn't download it.

It's not. The references don't feel forced at all IMO. In fact they feel very in place because who wouldn't dress up like their favorite characters and get their favorite weapons from pop culture they like in a VR world? Not a masterpiece of a movie but I thought it was very good mainly for it being super fun.

Impressive for a camrip, but I think this is a movie to either see in the theaters, or a good bluray rip of.

i would give it like a 3.5/10. This movie is a visual action adventure, with sound also playing a major role. Watching this will allow you to experience the story, but not nearly the way it should be.
