I read some comments about how bad it is and disagree - TV version i saw in 90s were already has cheap SFX. There some bad things in widescreen version but nothing THAT bad.

Agreed.
I watched the Buffy MOVIE as a kid and was thrilled when they announced a Buffy TV-Show, I saw all this stuff on TV as it aired.

I don't know if it's the FOX remaster, but I already watched my way through the Pahe rips, which were sourced from this, and the remaster started to look better and more acceptable with season 3. Season 1 had a lot of zooms to cover up the fact that there wasn't enough picture material for 16:9, and season 2 was an improvement, although still with noticeable moments of zoom.
But yeah, every time there is SFX, you immediately notice the different picture quality. Sometimes it even told you there is a special effect coming in a second or two, just because the background suddenly got a whole lot disconnected from the character foreground. It was quite funny.
