His work is all interesting, enlightening, timeless, and intriguing. Time spent in his company is guaranteed to be well rewarded.
[This series](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connections_(TV_series)) explores how seemingly insignificant technological breakthroughs are interconnected and ultimately lead to current technology/knowledge, explaining how society is how it is nowadays. James shows how much technology has shaped societies and cultures, and how its relentless evolution impacts our lives today, and inevitably, the future. He also demonstrates and demystifies the falsity of the mythical "genius", who allegedly, single-handedly, "discovered" everything. In reality, everything is a remix of current and previous knowledge, we all are influenced by our predecessors.
Despite the release date of the first series, it is still the best one, and surprisingly current and relevant. James' humour is quite entertaining, however, it can really be seen only from the 2nd series onwards.
