Young people! Please watch this show. Please. It pains my heart when people ask what it even is.

When it was airing, Mystery Science Theater 3000 was easily the smartest, funniest thing on television. That's why no one watched it. Glowing reviews came from people like Bill Gates, making it seem nerdy and "intellectual." So? You get two hours of nearly consistent side-splitters which is so hard to pull off. The writers watched every movie an average of nine times, most of them are vague about whether or not they were baked during this time simply for the sake of endurance.

I post all this because if you notice, every episode's credits end with a strict policy of "Keep circulating the tapes." A policy I'm sure is welcome here. The show's creator, Joel Hodgeson, who liked a Facebook post I made once(starstruck!), has amended it in season 11 to the more vague, and less openly pirate-like "keep circulating the URL."

Sesaon 11 is also worth watching on Netflix and supporting with views. The talking monkey movie is one of the best the show has ever done, hands down. It may even by in my all-time favorites and that's as a die hard, lifelong fan. Anyway, youth of America, take heed to this wonderful show and all the laughs and joy therein. Seriously, at 90 minutes an episode you're getting a bargain. Season 10 took a slight dip for me, but it still has fucking Merlin's Shop Of Magical Wonders which is one of the very, very best. Agreed with everything you said, although I'd tell people to seek out Cinematic Titanic and Rifftrax before you head on to Season 11.
