This is not something I expected to see. Thanks.

I wonder what book the fourth season would have covered. Probably Mossflower.

It's a shame really. I always thought the Mossflower the best among the Redwall series.

Thank you! This series looks very interesting!

Edit: this series sounds dark for something that looks cute with mice.

The books were definitely dark at times - but were very good.

I was born in 2001 but I swear I have some faint memories of this show (apparently some PBS stations showed repeats until 2006 or so). I've always meant to get around to watching it. Thanks!

Is the show complete or was it cancelled? I ask because I know there's a shit ton of books and was wondering if it fishes up nice and tidy?

I watched it on tv every now and then but not more than that.

Oh no, this is only Redwall, Martin the Warrior, and Mattimeo. They never made any others.

Each season follows a different book to completion. The first season is based on the original (and first) Redwall book, followed by Mattimeo which is a sequel to it, and then lastly Martin the Warrior which is a prequel.

It doesn't end in the middle of anything important, as each book themselves are stand-alone stories.

How do I grab these on mobile without a direct link? This show is going to be my binge material for the night

Fans of the show can find occasional posts by former show writers Michelle Goodeve and Glenn Norman in their Facebook group. They occasionally talk about their time on Redwall.

Thank you! I loved the books as a kid and look forward to revisiting them. I wonder if there are any ebooks available...

Are these anywhere as good as the books?

I felt they did a pretty faithful job of translating the three books to each season.
