Here's an Apocalypse Now DCP remux leaked directly from a movie theater (DCP). It's a 215 GB mkv file containing the original content projected at a cinema completely untouched, it uses the intraframe JPEG 2000 compression algorithm (JPEG 2000), it is a 24 FPS 2k video (2048x858) ,it has a color depth of 16 bit which is higher than the 8 bit standard for Blurays and 10 bit for UHD Blurays, it has a 5.1 Flac english track and a total bitrate of 195 Mb/s.

This is really interesting - what exactly was the process for getting this? I used to work at a movie theater and always wondered if it was possible to get the files off the hard drives when we got new movies

It seems to be a mistery, my best guess is that someone in the cracking scene discovered some vulnerabilities in the AES encryption scheme used for cinemas and collaborated with the cinema manager to rip the movie from the projector or the hard drive

I currently don't have the HDD space (or the patience) to download this. I hope someone on here does a fancy x265 10bit / 12bit encode of this, or even a crazy 50mb/s x264 I don't mind, i just want to watch an encode of this source and i think my life would then be complete.

This release is not available on any public torrent tracker, i've only found it available on TorrentLeech which is a private one, but even there it has no seeds at all, i'm afraid the only way you can download it is through Mega, although in some days i might reupload everything to zippyshare so you might want to recheck my posts after 3 or 4 days or sooner if i manage to reupload it faster

Unfortunately i think won't be able to upload this on zippyshare , in fact it took me 1 day and a half only to create these 25 Gb zip files to upload to MEGA and zippyshare only supports zip files up to 200 MB, maybe in some days I will be able to upload it there
