i can work on all of those! for my date with a presidents daughter, i just ripped it off youtube the other day and it was in three parts. i pieced it together with my limited knowledge, but it WILL have a like 2 audio blips at the part where i spliced them. it was all i could find though.

This was my white whale as a kid. I'd seen all the DCOM movies, but was busy every time this one aired. I finally saw it years later and wow. It was bad. But fulfilling!

Yeah, they were pumping them out once a month for some time. It's part of what leads to them being so bizarre. Disney Channel, before it landed on a market, was just throwing everything at the wall. I think nothing illustrates that better than my favorite show they produced, So Weird. In the pilot, you have one of the heroes saying God didn't exist and getting away with it because we just saw our lead interact with a ghost. But sometimes it would become a live-action cartoon and not in a way that felt purposeful. It aired very out of order, but even with thr monster of the week format it somehow is serialized. Then it's dropped for Fi's cousin to replace her and she wants to become a musician vs. Fi trying to reconnect with her dead father. It's truly weird to watch, especially knowing about the original season 3 intentions and consistently those seeds were planted throughout the show. (Especially any alien episode.)

But anyway, thanks. I grabbed The Color of Friendship and have no idea how it's going to read today. It was such a big thing at the time.

Do you have all of So Weird? The fandom has it all available online for download. I grabbed it. I read an interesting analysis of the disney channel on a reddit here somewhere. They mentioned how it was an adult channel when it was a paid channel, then began to transition, and basically the end of So Weird is the start of their total-kid era.
