An order for 13 episodes was placed for the first season of the series, which premiered on June 12, 2015 on both Space and Syfy.

I still get a little ping of pain in my heart every time I see Dark Matter posted about on reddit.

Sure it wasn't the Stargates, Mallozzi's previous shows, but it was really getting good in the last season. Which seems to be somewhat common in scifi, shows having a rocky start and then coming into their own, Syfy should have known this by now, it's 2018...

At least we still have The Expanse.

I'm still super bummed about it. Syfy talked a big game when it came to winning back their core audience, but them cancelling DM showed it was simply all talk. Then to add insult to injury they renew Killjoys, which isn't a terrible show, but it wasn't as good as DM.

There is no way to check it with mediainfo, it only tells the me the current codec, not teh sources, also season 3 was WEB-DL not bluray
