Willy/Milly aka Something Special. Not sure what the actual name of the movie is. It was marketed as "Something Special" here in the US, and a search for it on IMDb brings up this movie. I guess that's what it was called elsewhere. I don't know. It WAS posted before but over a year ago, and was taken down. Saw it when I was a kid, was able to remember the name, curious about it. None of the streaming services have it. It's like 30 years old. Ain't picky about quality but you know, better is better.

the remaster for BR was done without input (and blessing) from the creator, which doesn't sound horrible until you consider the change of aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9. this colossaly fucked up every beautiful symmetry and scope decision (close-up, mid, wide lens shot etc) that the creative team conjured up in composing the scenes of the show.
what makes this so tragic is that they (creator and visual guy) had fought to film it in 16:9 from the beginning, but lost, because it's more expensive and HBO didn't give the first season an exhaustive budget. for the remaster project they asked simon, if he's ok with it, he said "yeah go ahead", expecting a preliminary test to be send to him, so that he can get included in the project after that. he found out about the finished project from advertisments.

may i introduce you to my dear friend from russia MYZUKA? if you have jdownloader active, just copy the url of an album or track and JD automatically grabs it.
myzuka has got an incredibly exhaustive mp3-archive of music from all genres. you just have to translate the header of an artist's page, so you know how to sort for studio, live, ep, bootleg etc albums, and you're good to go.
if you're on firefox, simply add them as a search extension over at mycroft (and coincidentally the extension that works is the one posted by some guy with a nickname conspicuously like mine)
