Thank you! Never listened to anything of his, but I've heard his early stuff was crazy good, so I'm interested.

How is it possible for someone to have never heard of Kanye’s music in 2018
[-] trasheusclay | 1 points
I've heard of him, but never reached out to listen to his music. I've seen him on the Grammy's etc, but never explored an album. Had a chance to listen to the first tonight. Sounds pretty fresh for being 14 years old.

I loved Graduation you should take a listen if you haven't already

I am a into a lot of music genre's, but there is just some music artists I cant connect with. I know I have heard a lot of his music but there is no way I could hear one on the radio and say .. Hey that's a Kanye West song. Its just never inspired me.
[-] Sir_Gunner | 7 points
How can you claim to have heard a lot of his music and not know what a Kanye song would sound like if it was on the radio? Very ironic if you ask me, you're entitled to your own opinion about him, but man that was just funny to read.
If anything, it sounds like you haven't really dived deep into his discography and let it simmer.

To be fair I mostly avoid mainstream music, I usually trend towards the alt spectrum of electronica and hiphop.
However I do try to listen to all genres, and most Saturday mornings I will have the charting music on TV and pay attention to what I like. I admit Kanye's music probably does not chart as often here in Australia as it does in America, but I have seen his name several times as I glance up from the computer to see who the next song was by.
For several years I hosted a regular music stream and was always on the hunt for new and interesting music (and music videos) for my audience. New and good content was essential to maintain viewers. I have even gone as far as created my own music videos for music I liked that did not have one. When I hear a song I like, I will make note of the artist and see what other gems they might have made.
If anything, it sounds like you haven't really dived deep into his discography and let it simmer.
100% correct, I have never actively seeked out any of Kanye's music, but only because the stuff I have heard has not inspired me to do so.
I don't think Kanye's music as bad, its just unmemorable for me. I am sure you would think the same of much of the music I enjoy.
I hope this further answers your original question.

Good response mate.
That was the same for me, years ago when I was a kid I would always hear "Stronger" and "Gold Digger" on the radio and those songs never really inspired me to seek out his music further. It wasn't until he actually got a bad rep with the media did I decide to listen to him and his discography really surprised me in a good way. To this day his production and creative process still has me coming back.
i walk into a gas station in January and this guy behind the counter is singing something loudly. As I walk up to the counter he explains its Drakes new song. I tell him I've never heard any of Drakes music. He launches into some AC/DC

Not everyone is a chubby Asian kid with a Supreme cap who wants people to think he's hard, is why.

You finished listening to his discography yet?
Just a quick note, you've got The Life of Pablo and Yeezus release dates backwards. Yeezus was 2013 and TLOP was 2016 :)
Edit: thanks for the upload, you’re a wavy dude 🌊🌊

Which copy of pablo have you got here? The generally most accepted copies are the Valentine's Day 2016 FLAC, the "March ALAC" update, and the June "Updated, refreshed, and redelivered" copy which I've never seen a FLAC of and honestly, that's all I really can think of.
[-] MarsNeedsFreedomToo | 7 points
It's the copy of the June update with Saint Pablo added as the last song.
How do I download it? Zippyshare looked a little sketchy. Sorry for asking
[-] MarsNeedsFreedomToo | 6 points
Its one large 7zip folder (4.03GB in total) but I had to divide it into 9 files due to zippyshare's 500MB per file limit. You need to download all 9 files to be able to extract it. Once you've downloaded all 9 files

Which Pablo version is this?
[-] MarsNeedsFreedomToo | 5 points
The June version with Saint Pablo added as the last song.

OK so the latest version, cool

Are these CD Grouprips or web flacs?
For both deep fans and newbies...consider checking out these two tracks from Scarface's The Fix, which Ye did the production for:

Is anyone else having problems with zippyshare? When I copy links to be downloaded via Mipony, they all resolve to the same filename (script/native_render.js)
