Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok, the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization, at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.

I've been waiting for this since the premiere. Thanks.
Is it me or did Thor 1 sucked? I couldn't go passed the 30 minute mark.
The first movie still stands head and shoulders above what followed. Thor 2 really sucked, and this one was all over the shop, but was at least marginally better than "number 2".
Man, I don't know if it was too "alieny" or too Sci fi'ish but something seemed off. Maybe the acting as well. I might give it another try. So ragnarok wasn't that great either??
[-] QuickQuest312 | 4 points
Ragnarok's the best of the three in my opinion. The comedy's great. Taika Waititi, guy who directed What We Do In The Shadows, is also doing this and it's a real hoot.
[-] heartless_drol | 3 points
it has already been uploaded under a different name :)
Has it? None of the other uploads I saw were Tigole encodes, so if I missed it could you please message me the link and then I'll take this down.
[-] rh_underhill | 6 points
I compared all the others and none of them have the same titles or numbers (file sizes), and this is certainly the first I've seen that has the features. So I would think you're good. And thanks!
[-] jethroguardian | 8 points
Well there is an exact copy, just under a very obscured naming. But always great to have multiple!
I just checked again and found it this time. I feel like an idiot. And you're right, it's a pretty obscure name haha.
I'm not sure if I should leave this up now though, seeing as it already has the same number of upvotes as the other post - which makes me think people are not easily finding the previous one.

Obscure? I see, thanks! So it wouldn't show up when I search "thor"?
Let's just say that the title of the other post can be found in one of the comments on this thread ;)

where does this fit in with this post- https://www.reddit.com/r/megalinks/comments/7zeyvp/movie_marvel_cinematic_universe_20082017_1080p/?st=je0qaltv&sh=a839e127
i would presume phase 3 but which part? are any other films missing for example avengers assemble?
[-] ThatOneDudeHere | 2 points
avengers assemble
This is not considered a part of the standard MCU. Generally the animated series are seperated from the live action ones. As far as 'movies' order, this would be movie 17. Or using that linked post. Phase 3, Movie 5. http://Marvelcinematicuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline is what I generally use when I want to merge movies and the assorted TV series as far as chronological order. Mostly i just put the series blocks where they belong. Its not like there are usually crossovers to worry about. It's the little things though that make it worth watching for fans. Like

I've only really seen Guardians Of The Galaxy 1 & the film where Thor fights Loki (and The Hulk gets involved- it might be avengers assemble).
So if I read this correctly I don't need this film? I'm trying to watch all the marvel live action superhero films from beginning or an order where the stories will make sense.
I downloaded all the films from that linked post above but I was trying to work out if it was missing any films. I know it's a lot to watch but I don't want to start until i have them all.
Is it like the fast and furious films where they all come out as they do but you shouldn't watch them chronologicaly for them to make sense?
Thank you for helping me make sense of this
[-] ThatOneDudeHere | 1 points
Yes. you should get it and watch it after Spiderman Homecoming.

When I play this on MPC-HC I only get audio and no video. What's up with that?
[-] BootywReckR | 2 points
Is cuz most of us dont have a 7.1 audio system. The movie plays but the audio also plays but our systems wont since is 7.1. I make Plex play the movie and plex converts the audio so i can hear the movie.
Huh, that's weird. The file is most definitely not corrupted - otherwise others would have said so already - so it must be a problem on your end. I don't know, try restarting MPC-HC or something? I have no real solution, sorry.
[-] QuickQuest312 | 2 points
Also when I play it on VLC it plays the video but no audio. Well it plays the audio for like 1 second and then distorts and disappears
That's really weird. The only thing I can think of is that somehow the file was corrupted when you downloaded it? I'm going to download it and check if it works for me.
Yeah, so I just checked the new downloaded version and it works fine on two different video players (Soda and IINA) so there's no problems with the upload.
[-] QuickQuest312 | 1 points
I'll try those players then
[-] CritReviews | 1 points
Can confirm the VLC issue. No audio or 1 second of audio. But this issue wasn't happening on Soda player.
[-] grammargiraffe | 1 points
I'm having the same issue playing this on VLC. The audio commentary track works, but not the main track.
[-] QuickQuest312 | 1 points
Yeah
[-] QuickQuest312 | 1 points
Found a fix?
u/frabagoo guy is having the same issue
[-] grammargiraffe | 1 points
I haven't, no. It's only happening on my MBP, though. It plays fine on my tv.
I have no idea why that's happening... are the video players you're using kept up to date? /u/grammargiraffe says it plays fine on their TV, it works fine on multiple video players for me, and nobody else has complained. So, again, it must be a problem on your end. Sorry, but I can't really help.
[-] BootywReckR | 2 points
I had the same issue, because of the 7.1 audio. I fixed it with ffmpeg.
ffmpeg -i this-movie.mkv -map 0 -c:v copy -c:s copy -ac 2 -af "pan=stereo|FL=FC+0.30*FL+0.30*BL|FR=FC+0.30*FR+0.30*BR" this-movie-stereo.mkv
That will copy all of the video and subtitle streams while converting any audio streams to stereo.
I also pulled out the commentary audio stream and non-english subtitles for my copy (keeping only video, main audio, and english subtitles). That command is:
ffmpeg -i this-movie.mkv -map 0:0 -map 0:1 -map 0:3 -c:v copy -c:s copy -ac 2 -af "pan=stereo|FL=FC+0.30*FL+0.30*BL|FR=FC+0.30*FR+0.30*BR" this-movie-processed.mkv
