i'm getting a virus warning from avast for the 7z.067 file on zippyshare, supposedly infected with a cryptocurrency miner

JS:Miner-C [Tr]

i tried to load the DLC file (zippy) into jdownloader, and whilst loading the links the warning appeared.

anyone else get this? or is my pc already infected, and it's showing this from my end and the file on zippy is innocent?

Not sayin' you're at fault. Might be avast acting up, or somebody hacking into zippyshare and piggybacking their shit unto a file.

This isn't a problem with Luigi Gamer's files, it's a problem with Zippyshare where the site is loading mining code in your browser. If you're using JDownloader then this gets stopped in your log file, and may trigger your AV on the log file.

If you're using an up to date version of Chrome, then the mining stops when your tab closes. If you have proper protection in place, then you should be getting 'Malicious Site Blocked' notifications every once in awhile while browsing Zippy manually, this is part of the mining script being blocked. In my experience you encounter this about 1/20 page loads on Zippy (very rough guesstimate). Easy way to tell is if the webpage size is greater than 41kb or the tab is eating up a ton of resources.

well, i don't really want to download it now, to be honest

weirdly, i tried re-loading the dlc into JD, and now the alert comes for a different part, 7z.092. and when i tried manually copying the links from the snahp.it collection, it gave me an alert for yet another different part.

Maybe the miner is already on your system and is injecting itself into files you're downloading. Just a theory, I no nothing about virus.

Because everything up from season 5 wasn't playable with potplayer and vlc takes solid 30 seconds to start an episode.
