I don't think this is 265 - In fact, a few different peices of software all tell me its 264. OP, can you confirm?

I wonder if possibly the way you downloaded it changed it 264 unless it is wrong from the source...who knows. Technology sucks when its not right lol

well im talking about if someone endcoded it into x265, uploaded to a site say 123movies or openload and you download it from there then it might get switched to x264 lol but it would be hard to do

That's what I'm saying...you can't download an x265 video and magically have it re-encoded to x264 through the download process.

I guess if it's 264 those software wouldn't tell u wrong lol. I've heard weirder things tho. PotplAyer gives me a media info option which is nice, if this isn't 265 ima pass on the download bcus that's what I'm waiting for
