...and by friends he means possible future sources of ibcome increase that have a good impression of you because of psychology tricks.

Only if "psychology tricks" includes things like "taking a genuine interest in people".
Have you actually read the book, or are you criticizing it based on what you think it's about?
I quit reading it halfway through.
So it's basicaly like, show people you're interested in their life and they'll possibly like you. Sounds fake and forced to me.
Ok, maybe it's not very bad, but things like "make people feel important because they subconsciously need it", is definitely a materialistic view of people. I'd rather work for people's genuine feelings.

It's not about faking it. It's about listening to people and learning to effectively communicate with them. It's about working with people in a way that has a positive influence. As you put it, the book actually does help people work for their genuine feelings.
If you tried to use those principles to manipulate people, it would be fake and forced. And it wouldn't work, which might be why you didn't get much out of the half of the book you read.

I second this! If you don't have the right perspective, yeah, these techniques are super slimy. If you have the right perspective and want to be genuinely better at being human, this is a good launch pad.

Yeah. I had a manager suggest I read this book while chasing the carrot on a stick. Wasn’t feeling it.
Can anyone tell me how to download it ?
I am new to this sub sorry
[-] TonySharkks | 10 points
open b64 in new tab
copy "L" into the top box and hit decode
add "mega" to the link so it says mega.nz/whatever
open link
Do the same with "K"
After you decode "K" locate #%FRIEnDS%# in the gibberish and delete it
copy what's left and input the key into the mega tab
Download the book.
This is done so links aren't removed right away by bots.
Thanks alot

I read this years ago after putting it off for so long from a list of recommended books (thinking it would all be rather obvious). I was pleasantly surprised. Great read.
