It crashes at around 0:29 for me on VLC player? Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or there's an issue with the file.

VLC is still a viable "it just works player", but you should really consider MPC-BE or Potplayer. Potplayer comes with its own open codecs that pretty much plays anything, but if you want to take your viewing experience a step further, you can try installing MadVr video renderer and playing around with the extensive settings.

Potplayer hands down. You try it and you can never use any other player. It's so full of amazingly useful options and definitely plays anything. VLC was good when people were fighting with codecs packs. But it ain't worth much nowadays. Even in terms of LAN and stream capabilities (you can play a torrent while it's downloading), PotPlayer rocks.

That's weird. I was sure amazon was lower, I always get way worse quality when using amazon. probably because you can't force the bitrate like with Netflix.
