[Pump Up The Volume](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pump_Up_the_Volume_(film)) is a 1990 mostly-drama film about a high school student and his pirate radio talk show. Talk radio had a surge as a premise in the late 80s with Oliver Stone's [Talk Radio](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk_Radio_(film)) and the tv show Midnight Caller. Pump Up The Volume was not a box office success despite positive reviews, with Gene Siskel including it in his year's Best Of list and expressing surprise that it hadn't done better.
A short 2015 interview clip with Christian Slater about the movie.
[The soundtrack](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pump_Up_the_Volume_(film)#Soundtrack) is a mix of flac files from the original CD and 320kb/s for the tracks not included on the CD but taken from other sources. There is one song, Stan Ridgway's Talk Hard, that has no official release and I could not find a good copy of. There is a live version on Youtube if you absolutely must hear it...
