I agree. To me, Udemy courses are generally shit. I do not remember a single one that was worth my time.

Lynda, on the other hand, is exactly the opposite. No matter how different the subjects, Lynda's courses are consistently good. I do not recall one Lynda's course that was useless.

You can also use https://github.com/ankitsejwal/Lyndor https://github.com/r0oth3x49/lynda-dl

hey there! i am trying to use lynda-dl with my organization, but it says Logged in failed.. Any idea, what could have been happened? I use the URL of my organization, and it authenticates with Shibboleath. But for lynda-dl it seems to not work :/

Use youtube-dl it works best in my experience.Also, use cookies not the username and pass for organisation login. Download cookies.txt extension for chrome it will give you a txt file and use the following code in for youtube-dl

youtube-dl.exe -a .\req.txt --cookies cookies.txt -o "Lynda.com - %(playlist)s/%(chapter_number)s - %(chapter)s/%(playlist_index)s - %(title)s.%(ext)s" --write-sub -f=bestvideo+bestaudio/best --external-downloader aria2c -v --download-archive .\lyndaarchive.txt -i

where req.txt is the list of links you want in a txt file. Also, read up abt youtube-dl on github...very useful tool.

aria2c just breaks a video into multiple parts to avoid throttling and maximise speed not download 2 videos side by side.

Youtube-dl is used for actually downloading videos off lynda or any other site for that matter. Use mega sync if you wanted to download from mega.
