It looks great tbh. On a 1080p screen. I have admired Joybell's Stranger Things 4k packs <3. these movies look good as well
I am really an idiot when it comes to these downloads. I have seen some that are HDR so when you play them on a non HDR TV, they look washed out of course.
Any way to tell what releases aren't HDR or ripped that way so I can get the best quality but with the color retained?

this is a non-hdr file. that is HDR converted to SDR, to support your non HDR tv. If a release is HDR, it will be written on it.
also, if you see a 4k REMUX or BD set, it is always in its full glory, that is it is HDR

Just trying to know what to look for to get the non HDR but still 4k stuff. I get the remux full 4k rips are most likely HDR.
Haven't I seen some rips of the 4k stuff that are larger (maybe fit on a BD25 disk) that are non HDR? I imagine it's an option. Then again with a lot of the TVs you get now being some form of HDR, there is the concept of wanting to somewhat future proof your downloads as much as possible.
That being said, at 6.65 GB, it's not such a big deal.
