Possibly not the proper RARBG rip... I grabbed this from openload (via some video streaming site), so maybe there was another recode process involved.

I muxed English subtitles, and included Spanish ones as an SRT file. On the subtitles sites the fitting release name was CINEFILE, in case you'll look for other languages.

Many "1080p" videos are not actually 1080 pixels high because their aspect ratio is not 16:9. It would make more sense to call them by their FullHD width of 1920 pixels but this the terminology we're stuck with.

Actually no, the marketing people saw it fit to call it 4K | Megalinks MegaDB 4K, refering to 4096*2160. Should've been 2160p, but maybe they wanted to suggest to the potential buyers an even greater leap than simply twice the vertical size over 1080p

This doesn't make what I said wrong. Secondly if you're going to be pedantic you should at least know that 4K movies are 3840 pixels wide, so their label is wrong too.

Well, just to throw a spanner in the works, you're both right...

  • 'Cinema' 4K = 4096
  • 'UHD' (consumer) 4k = 3840

Blame it on the Digital Cinema Initiatives group. They're only concerned with the width that a projector throws; and the height takes care of itself. Personally I think they should have stuck with vertical nomenclature in the consumer space and called 2160p 2K — making the new 8K screens 4K.
