You probably could on any good quality QHD+ or 4K display. On a native 1080p display, it'd be really hard to play spot the difference.

The first season has a real X-Files, creature of the week vibe, but it becomes more of an ongoing story arc in season 2. One of my favorite all time shows, you should check it out.
