Source is the amzn rips ranging from 2.5-4.5gb a piece. Encoded with RF 18 at the slow preset. File size is larger than a lot of other encodes on this sub but I was shooting to maintain quality, especially since there's a lot of dark areas in space.

Will update as the season progresses
Edit: Reuped e11. Total size is now 23.92gb
Edit: added episode 12,13,14

Wow. I'm not sure why mega is working so nice tonight. I just downloaded the whole 22gb via a vpn in one shot, without having to switch to new ip.
Anyways, thanks for the full set. I really have come to like and accept this show. Next season I'll likely subscribe for a month and binge it.

Each episode takes 4 hours to encode

Link doesn't decode to a Mega link.
Add an a to the beginning of the code.

~~"Server not found". The resulting link doesn't work.~~
It works.

I'm new to this, so hopefully I'm not breaking any rules here. I've gotten the link but when I try to enter the key (minus bolded part), it tells me the key is invalid. Where am I going wrong?
[-] ethanbrecke | 3 points
You need to go to https://www.base64decode.org/ and also decode the key.
[-] poonsworth | 2 points
Ah, didn't realize the key needed to be decoded as well. Thank you!

No problem man.

Down?
[-] rnishouldbestudying | 3 points
I deleted them all I'm reencoding them to 10 bit instead of 8 bit
[-] TheBigDawgJ | 1 points
Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the show delivered in 8bit 1080p? Unless it's HDR on Netflix I think that'd mean it's definitely 8bit. So what's the point of reencoding to 10 bit?
[-] rnishouldbestudying | 2 points
Better quality retention when compressing
A file this size, with VR goggles, you'll actually be part of the show.

It's 11 episodes (S01E01 - E11), so about 2 gig an episode. Not a single episode that's 22 gig.

What made you choose ~2GB file size for each episode? I only ask to understand, not to criticize. As you say many shows encoded in x265 are smaller, they barely hit 1.5GB, and those that do are 1+hours, not 45minutes like Discovery.
With so many varying x265 filesizes for movies and tv, it's hard for n00bs like me to tell what's too much or too little.
Edited: first sentence said "this file size", now it says "~2GB file size" to make it clear I know this is 11 episodes.....

for the hr long episodes of mr robot i was extremely extremely impressed with 600mb in 1080p x265, their eyelashes and darks were great. i personally think 2gb for a tv show (especially since tv shows usually have crappy cgi compared to movies) is way too big but most ppl like high bit rate stuff. I like what still looks good and what i can live with, dont have money for extra hdd space for awhile.

Dude, I know. I read the OP, maybe YOU should? And try reading my whole comment, too, please. You'd hopefully tell I didn't mistake this for a 22GB single episode.
quoting OP:
Even OP admits this is high and I haven't seen a lot of 45min show uploads in HEVC hit this file size, so my question is within reason, too.

Probably because it's such a good looking show he wanted to keep as much quality as he could while still reducing the file size a large amount.

I guess so, and that's probably it, so that's cool, I'm down for preserving visuals. I know I've seen Blue Planet II hit ~2-3GB on this sub.
