Telecine is used for scanning film to make DVD's. The last true telecine was Jurassic Park III.

Did you personally do this? You do realize that a TC copy is a perfect copy of the film, right? Which means that it would not be blurry, like this is. This is as much a TC as the copy of Coco that was released and labeled a TC was. This is just a really good HD cam copy more than likely taken from a 3D source to increased the brightness.
TC is used for mastering to DVD. This is not a TC. This is a joke.
It sucks that your other replies are downvoted, but you're entirely 100% correct.
Afaik distributors don't even ship out analog reels widespread anymore, it's all digital, so no one even needs to use a TC Machine -- and if there was an analog reel for a modern film it's probably easier to track down than the digital reels.

Telecine requires a very special machine which is used to scan the actual reels of the film prior to mastering to DVD. Do you know what that means? That means it would be a PERFECT copy. NO blurries, no 1080p as it would only be SD resolution, and oh it requires actual analog materials. When was the last time something was released to theaters on film reels? Essentially all film releases now are digital, 100%. Hence a telecine machine will not work.
This is a really good TS, no if's and's or but's.
