REASON FOR REPACK: 1999 was used in release name instead of correct 1995! Apologies!

NO. This release is taken from an 4k original scan of the film.

In the case of a 4k upscaled movie : It would still not be the same, your TV would do it, yes. but in real time and algorithm based only.

UHD upscalings are processed whit plenty of time and maybe some manual adjustments so it looks almost as if its native 4k.

Plus a 1080p copy won't have HDR.

Even with films not rendered in true 4k, they are rendered in 2k, which is a bit bigger than 1080p,and has HDR, which is great

A 4K file don't necessarily have HDR. So I'm asking OP, does this one have HDR (looks greyish on a normal screen) or is this 8 bit normal video file ? I wouldn't want to download 40 Gb for nothing xD

I flipped out for a second. I saw the file size and saw that you were using HEVC/H.265 as the codec and was about to type a raging comment before I took a look at the resolution.
