Question for those who have seen this already, do I need to see Blade Runner first and then this or am I good starting from here.

I'd say not necessary to see the first. The first minute of the film basically summarizes in text the main points of the plot of the first. Will pick up on more if you have seen the first, but still an enjoyable movie by itself.

Not necessary, but it makes it more satisfying.

Is it worth it to download the 12 gig x264 version over this for bitrate? surely x265 doesn't reduce the file size by 5/6th?

The quality difference is pretty indistinguishable at this point, in my humble opinion. X265 is exceptionally godly at preserving details compared to H264.

It is available anywhere with even better quality?

If you're a member of a private tracker, it might be worth checking out a lossless bluray iso. It doesn't get better than that, though I don't think you need the incremental quality unless you have an insanely good display and no storage limitations.

I understand. No, I have got limited FHD display and storage. This should work for me now. Thanks for reply.

I downloaded this and I'm not terribly impressed with the quality, but I don't really care about this movie very much anyway. I'd check out a ~10 GB BluRay x264 encode if I wanted better quality.
