BY REQUEST:
The continuing misadventures of neurotic New York stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his equally neurotic New York friends.
Why would I agree to a request for a 480p DVD rip (not my own) when there are 1080p WEBDLs available? Because of the framing issues.

Thanks for the heads up about framing! It's always nice to know in advance when you're electing to get a non-original aspect version. Sometimes it's not apparent when a source was actually shot at 16:9 and then cropped for 4:3 with the intention of showing it 16:9 later when it was more widely available.

They should just do what was done with the Star Trek: The Next Generation Blu-Rays. They look amazing and nothing is lost! :)
What was done with TNG???
Edit: Are you talking about the work they put into re-mastering the show? Seinfeld doesn't quite have the same fanbase as Star Trek, so I don't think it would go over the same to re-master the series...

They remastered from the original 35mm but kept the pillared 4:3 aspect from broadcast. It looks amazing, like a window washer scrubbed over your previous copies with a squeegee.

They just kept the 4:3 aspect ratio.
Just a question, are there any big differences between this and the complete box set with specials that was uploaded 3 years ago?
is anyone missing episodes from this batch? I don't see season 3 episode 10 "The Stranded"
edit: the op delivered! the ep is in the season 2 folder

As a geezer of 35, it helps me explain why I just don't really watch TV anymore. New stuff is Sheldon, and old stuff has been "Lucasized" and doesn't look the way I remember it so my nostalgia is off. Just like in the video; where's the cereal Kramer spilled on the table? Oh, they cropped it out...
