is it bad?

yes it's garbage
I've seen some negative reviews, but the premise of the film sounds intriguing, so I feel like I want to try watching it ... (but I shall cease if it becomes terrible).

The premise is wasted

Yea the premise is only the first 30 minutes. Then it just becomes an disconnected movie that randomly ends. What makes it even worse is it had so much potential to be amazing. The first 30 minutes is great. Then once he does shrink down it becomes terrible. Its like they changed the script and directors mid movie, and then did it again in the last 30 minutes of the movie.

The director co-wrote the script which also ends abruptly and with no resolution. It's just a crap project, unfortunately.

I think what most annoyed me about the movie was it had so much potential. The movie should of been amazing, it even started off great. It felt more like 3 short stories combined. One was about shrinking, one was about depression, one was about global warming.
Went to see All the Money in the World but it was sold out and saw this instead... I figured maybe it was just reeeeally quirky and too weird for mass appeal, so maybe that's why it got negative reviews...
Nope. It just sucks so fucking hard. What a waste of a great premise.
