I can't believe this was posted. This was the TV series I binge watched right after my dad died. It helped me through dealing with his loss and the utter collapse of my family in his absence.
I'm going through a very rough time in my life right now... and this is exactly what I need. This series is weirdly special to me. About a depressed man that is terrified of the outside world.
The comic is quite good. I read it off of BakaBT. It varies a bit from the anime, I don't recall exactly since it's been about decade since I've read it, but both are equally good.
