If you're having trouble downloading from MEGA, or can't bypass the bandwidth limit, use ZippyShare with JDownloader (ZS Mirror). If you're unsure on how to download using JDownloader, read the post I made here.

How the hell did Joy get an entire 10 episode season in 4K under 20 GB??

Is 2160p 4k or 2k?

It’s 4K

2160p = 4k. Unfortunately for this particular title, it was actually filmed in 2k and upscaled to 4k for the 4k Blu-Ray release. :(

EDIT: I am actually more interested in the Dolby Vision on this 4k Blu-Ray release than the resolution, but I am unsure if Joy actually included the Dolby Vision metadata in the encodes. Does anybody know? For some reason I doubt it, maybe HDR-10 at best is included.

I wish for upscales like this people would just encode them in 1080p but keep the HDR, seems like a waste of space/bitrate to have upscaled content. This would also allow for higher bitrate audio in the same space without hurting the picture quality (even just going to 640kb/s vs this 384kb/s would be nice).

I don't mind having the upscaled 4k resolution as it was released, but still include HDR metadata (preferably Dolby Vision since most agree that it is nicer). The video bitrate is just under 4 MB/s, which is probably pretty low for quality 4k video anyway to be honest. I am in the middle of moving and my 65" display with Dolby Vision is still in storage. Maybe I will get it this weekend so I can check this out.

That's the thing 4Mb/s for 1080p with x265 is pretty solid, why degrade quality trying to compress the 4K version which is really just a 2K version upscaled? Sure the upscaling will be a bit better than a TVs built in upscaler, but not by a ton, and if you are bitrate starved it doesn't make sense to waste it on upscaled resolution. The HDR is going to be the biggest improvement for 2K upscaled content so to encode them in 1080p with HDR will give you the best bang/buck ratio.

Unfortunately I don't believe MKV files support Dolby Vision.

I know it's HEVC, but the 4K HEVC remux was 209 GB so I was wondering how the hell they got this one so small.

They compressed the video bitrate by 10x and the audio is 384kb/s instead of TrueHD/Atmos.

Wow.

4K UHD Bluray uses HEVC on disc, you lose a ton of quality/clarity compressing something to a 10x smaller bitrate like these are.

How does this compare with RCVR's 1080p encode? Source for this is obv better but RCVR's encode is higher bitrate while having a lower resolution. Could someone with both copies compare? Thanks!

I have the 1080p WEBRip x265 by PSA and the 1080p BDRip by RCVR uploaded on ZippyShare. Would those work instead?

PSA's quality is inferior and Recover's size is way more but thanks I understand. And thanks for this upload.
