Adguard provides you with a reliable and manageable protection that immediately and without your participation filters the loading web pages. Adguard removes all the annoying ads, blocks loading of dangerous websites, and will not allow anyone to track your activities on the Internet.
When processing a web page, Adguard does several things at once:
Removes ads and online tracking code directly from the page.
Checks a page against our database of phishing and malicious sites.
Checks apps downloaded from unknown sources.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Uninstall previous version of AdGuard
Install the new AdGuard version and reboot.
Enjoy!

Been using dns66 since past month.... Way better and doesn't impact battery life like adguard does.... Highly recommended dns66 over any of these Edit:-No offence to the OP... Thanks for the share

I dunno. AdGuard does so much more than dns66.you can use it alongside a vpn. I don't think you can do that with dns66 coz it uses vpn connection and you can only have one at a time.
It also blocks those annoying cookie messages, blocks anti adblocks, has so many filters, has custom filters for different languages.
And android passes off other apps battery consumption as adguard while it is on.
Been using it for more than a year and been more than satisfied. But I guess dns66 is good too. Depends on the individual user.

I used Adguard for over a year before switching over to DNS66. Honestly, Adguard was better at blocking ads—especially those contained in non-web-browser apps. I also don't notice any difference in battery life. That said, DNS66 is good enough and for the convenience of a free, open-source program that's simple to update, I just stick with it instead of going back.
