my internet is pretty shitty today for some reason. pages take ages to load and im remotely navigating my server with like 3fps and 3 second delay. but i will still try to fulfill all upload requests, so keep 'em comming!
Very nice, much appreciated. How do you accept requests? Specific courses ok?
[-] JustSpeedy | 2 points
Specific courses or Author pages would be best, rather than learning paths. because i have coded tools that automate the downloading process for these
I literally have dozens I'd like but dont want to dump too many links. Any of these would be nice. Thank you https://www.lynda.com/AutoCAD-tutorials/AutoCAD-Construction-Drawings/622066-2.html

Thank you so much for this. I'm sure you are being flooded with request but more beginner web development courses would make my life just a tad bit better :)

i uploaded some javascript stuff allready. but i can also upload some python stuff later.
if you are serious about learning javascript i can really recomend freecodecamp.org
if you are done with freecodecamp you will be able to build all kinds of websites and tools with html, css, javascript, node.js and other frameworks that go well with javascript

with fcc, i started the html and it went right into and it didn't seem like it gave me too much explanation, did you use other resources to learn from as well while doing fcc?

there is also codecademy which is a freemium site that might be more beginner friendly.
when i started coding years ago, i started by using codecademy. it was pretty simple to understand, but after the course was over i didnt know how to use the things i just learned and quickly forgot everything.
i only really started to learn after i was really bored one day and wanted to see if i could acually code something useful. after hours of googleing and playing arround i finaly build my first own website, that would convert plain text to encrypted caesar cipher and other ciphers like it and back.
all i can say is that everybody learns another way. and if codecademy or freecodecamp doesnt help you, maybe you should try a coding book. if you cant learn by reading, maybe you should try youtube videos or sites like lynda.com. or you could learn by doing, like i did.
nomatter what you do- if you finally learn a programming language and really understand it, you will be glad you did.

fyi there are a ton of free web dev books out there just use this
http://palined.com/search/
to search things like "html and css" or "beginner web dev" under the ebook or kindle tab.
I'm struggling to self teach myself as well and found some real good books doing that.
just so you don't drop $20 on a book thats shit, hah.

if you'd have a look at the source. you'd notice that i use a dc libary card to log into lynda.com using node.js, grab the cookie that they return and use that to download all the videos. these libary cards can be created automaticticly.

How do you bypass their login requirements? I'd assume they check every request against username/password, no?
