you don't have Transformers Animated do you? Also is this the Rhino or Shout! Factory version?

This is the only Transformers I have at the moment. And looking at the box, it is the Shout! release. Is there a difference between the two?

yeah the Rhino release was a huge mess, they lost the original prints so the DVD set is a bunch of VHS transfers and before broadcast prints, so tons of animation errors and they changed the sfx. The Shout! DVD is much better, and almost completely accurate they painstakingly went through each episode to restore it to proper quality and coloring.

Interestingly enough the Blu-Ray of the movie is considered worse than the DVD because they changed all the colors, made them cooler and fucked the black levels. So if you're looking for the movie look for the 20th anniversary DVD not the 30th anniversary Blu-Ray.
