Unless you are getting it from their IRC you have no idea the package came from the SKIDROW group. Most of the front facing websites take legitimate rips and add their own "special sauce".
Honestly the secret sauce usually is benign, like slapping the websites name all over the ingame menu images. I would just never do banking on your gaming PC and watch for embedded crypto miner activity.
Honestly I would shell out for another HD and put all my games there on a dedicated OS and boot into it when you wanna vidja game. It isnt perfect but you can sleep at night. You can even cold swap HD every time. It still would not protect you 100%.

I personally wouldn't need it in such high quality (4-5 GB per episode), I'd be content with 1-2GB per episode.
But some people here are very happy about such high quality, and would probably prefer it.
Unless you want to go through the hassle of re-coding it to smaller (but comparable in quality) x265.
