Why would it not be in FLAC? You can always encode it to MP3, but not the other way around.

That's what confused me. Was the older stuff on CD (Simpsons Sing the Blues)? I only remember it being on tape. I was in Alaska at the time, so we were far behind the lower 48 in regards to most everything.
I'm excited, I remember my friend getting The Simpsons Sing the Blues on tape and listening to it!
I've been playing the Simpsons Christmas episodes, and now I can play Simpsons in the car!

I have the CD of "The Simpsons Sing The Blues." It was definitely issued on CD, as were the singles from that album.
