Laugh out loud belly laughs! Casting was perfect, but Oliver Reed steals the show. Who would imagine him as an Indian but a great casting director. This is not a western about the Old West. It takes place in 1908 Colorado during the Presidential campaign of Howard Taft. Horses mingle with the early automobiles. Lee Marvin (The Great Scout) and Oliver Reed (Joe Knox) pull off a sting operation against a previous partner who scammed them out of a lot of money. But this is secondary to the relationship that develops among the group of "stingers" This movie is definitely not for the politically correct--only for those with a sense of humor
