I started watching "the.girl.1.with.the.dragon.tattoo.part.1" and it seems to begin with some kind of recap montage...
Am I watching it in the wrong order or something?
EDIT: It looks like all three films are numbered wrongly. Watch "part 2" of each film first.

this film was quite different and done well. the authors wife made a terrible choice not selling off the actual ending off. and as for usa's version.. they crapped it out and let it rot. i cant believe how terrible they made it. that director should have been fired. im just glad most people knew it was a foreign film and watched that more then the us version. people were smart enough on that.
Awesome thanks, think I lost my blu rays of these.
I think the parts are named the wrong way around for the second and third films FYI.

why are they all in two parts? Is there a way to merge them?

Pretty sure they aired as TV specials in Sweden in 2 parts, not 100% though
Wikipedia
French premium pay television channel Canal+ aired extended versions of the three movies as a mini-series (6×90 minutes) between March and June 2010, before the theatrical release of the second and third films. The series premiere attracted over 1.1 million viewers. Considering the network is only available in 8 million French households, the series was a substantial success.[8] The series aired on US pay-for-view cable networks in the weeks leading up to the release of David Fincher's 2011 film adaptation of the novel.
In France, the audience of the Canal+ broadcast of the first part on 22 March 2010 was 1.2 million (18% of the channel's subscribers in the country) and the largest audience of a foreign series at Canal+ that year.[citation needed]
A home video set of all six parts of the mini-series was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc by Music Box Home Entertainment on 6 December 2011.
