Big thanks for the 8-bit encoding, as well as including both 1080p and 720p. This saves me a lot of time, as I typically have to re-encode everything to 8-bit 720p on my own anyway...

I use Handbrake, scale it down proportionally to 720 height (sometimes lower for ultra-widescreen content), ~27 RF, 'fast' preset, variable framerate (same as source).
This gets me file sizes I'm comfortable with (<=1GB for most movies, ~200MB for most TV shows) with quality much better than that of the x264/480p scene releases I used to get, and the encoding time is reasonable (my laptop usually gets 10-15 fps, which equates to roughly 4 hrs encoding for a 2-hr movie).
What device do you own that can playback x265 720p but can't have 1080p?

I mostly use a Shield ATV for playback, so it's 1080p-capable, but I don't like the space vs quality tradeoff for 1080p vs 720p for most things. There are certain content where I opt for 1080p instead because the tradeoff is worth it to me (animation, most frequently, since the jaggies and visible macroblock artifacts can be very jarring, and x265 is just so efficient at compressing it anyway), but it's not very common.

is it me or do they look a little bit fuzzy the images in the 720p version?
thanks for the up!
which film did you try? I've got all of them so can check for you?
[-] ScyllaHide | 1 points
think was the 3rd one i checked out as it was finished first.
They are probably transcoded from another source so the quality won't be great but you get low filesizes

yes i see, still better as 8GB per HP.
Can you please also upload some Christmas day movies please as christmas is coming around

Man,you are awesome. It wil be great,if you encode - Star Wars Franchise.
This is what I get when I try decoding the link part. What am I doing wrong?
[-] nikaylarose | 4 points
it's not a base64 encode, just go to mega.nz/and paste that part
Nice one thanks, my Plex was having problems with the Tigole versions I had.
