Thanks a lot man. Really bringing me back to my brash younger days. Getting to listen to vinyl rips instead of old limewire dls and scratched cds is awesome.

So, can you tell me what the difference between a vinyl rip and other files is? Does it sound clearer, or is it just a reproduction of a record player?

Well, from my understanding, unless you're relatively trained or have good hardware allowing a denser audio clarity, the difference between a vinyl rip or a relatively high quality audio file may be negligible to the ear.
From my experience, a lot of my CDs would skip due to insane wear from picking them up secondhand from friends and goodwill due to my age back then. Limewire rips usually sounded like the audio files were submerged underwater so there's that.
Regardless, if it sounds great, then it sounds great and this sounds great.

Same here, I actually have recently started finding alternate sources for many of the CDs that I have ripped from my personal collection to ensure that I don't have to hear those skips that couldn't be fixed by EAC
And I agree that a lot of these sound great! I didn't rip any of these myself, but the folks who have spread these great albums around online did a fantastic job. There are often release notes included that detail the exact cleaning/recording/lineage, for those super hardcore audiophiles to ensure they are getting the purest possible reproduction.
I'm glad that people are enjoying these! I've got a few more packs of HQ vinyl rips to upload, but after that it's a lot of CD rip FLAC that I still want to contribute.

The sound of these sometimes includes the sound of the needle dropping and/or the "pops" that a vinyl record might have. Not necessarily clearer, but it does usually sounds like it's actually being played on a record player.

Nice. I mean, I can’t imagine that really adding to the feel other than nostalgia. But hey, this is art we are talking about here, so if it makes ya feel good, then it’s good.
