Smiley's People (1982): This one is a bit odd so I'll explain. There are some differences between the UK and US versions but all I know is the US episodes are about 5 minutes shorter than the UK. The UK release is from a DVD whereas the US is a Bluray. Both sets were x264 rips that were re-encoded to 10-bit x265, the UK episodes were detelecined to 29.97 fps for NTSC devices for the re-encoded set. Numbering is based off of thetvdb.com so it will be picked up by scrapers.

Thanks, have you watched both versions? I've seen only the UK ones. I would like to replace with the 720p ones you got. My guess is they didn't cut out too much important stuff?

I haven't seen either version actually, I have no idea what the cuts are. The episodes lengths are pretty close though.
