Fun fact about this show though is that it seems to have been animated/mastered lower than 1080p. I remember years ago that someone ran tests proving it was essentially upscaled, so there's no real reason to have it in 1080p.

Pretty sure 95% of anime pre 2015-16 was drawn at a resolution lower then 1080p, with a few exceptions (KyoAni) and movies.
