Oh my lord yes, and I only started watching after season 6 was already all out. You have till 2019 till the next season so you may as well take your time lol. I watched season 1-6 in about a week and a half and then transitioned into season 7. It felt strange, even though I was used to waiting a week for other shows. I was hardcore itching by day four of the week-long waits lol.
If you're serious, i'd suggest pacing yourself by only watching 1 a week, like how its released normally. This is so you don't burn yourself out, and you wont have a substantial offseason like the rest of us. But, it is your call, so if youre more of a binge person, absolutely do it like that.
certain pizza places let you ridiculously order pizza 21 days in advance, so pick a couple days and order pizzas for those days and make a night out of the episodes
I bingewatched the the whole first 5 seasons and then bingewatched the sixth after it ended, I realized this shows is too intense and I can't wait for the next episod, so I decided to not watch season 07 and wait till the whole show is over and then rewatch everything from the beginning.
2019, so be it!
My friend does something similar. No news, no trailers, no leaks, no spoilers, nothing. Once the season is fully out he takes a day off and gets 10 ish hours of pure, uninterrupted binge watching material.
I was always so tempted by the leaks that I don't think I would have lasted the 7 weeks lol.
Aren't you ruining it for yourself by following those leaks?
Spoiler:
Before I started watching the show, Jon's death laying on ice was all over the Internet, it was the biggest thing back then so out of curiosity I decided to watch GoT after ignoring it for 5 years.
Some of my favorite things about the show were the unexpected deaths; Ned stark, the red wedding...etc but I knew since episode one that Jon was gonna be a big character, one that lives until season 05 and (un)surprisingly die.
When it finally happened I felt like I was robbed of a great moment in the show.
I agree with your point. I specifically was talking about the episode leaks. So that 7 day waits just became 10-11 ish days waits just so I can watch some shitty 420p version w/shit audio. It was partially because I didn't want to be spoiled myself, but more so because my life was so concentrated with GoT in that 2 ish month period that the show was on mind 24/7.
