As I said in the title, there is one way to avoid the "bandwidth limit exceeded" without using vpn, witout changing ip etc
Well, I'm really not good at explaining, I'll try to do my best.
for this reason
This is the site

attempted with jdl.
im getting server error: mega_edlurl. error w/ 15min reset timer.
so far, doesnt work :/
yeah, in some cases I receive that same error which I do not know what it means, but when I try start another download this download perfectly.
[-] MiDNighTzx10r | 6 points
Ive attempted it with your link and 2 other links, all over 5gb and i get the error on all 3, even while trying 1 link at a time. :(
Do you mean that it only lets you download multiple files up to 5GB each?
[-] MiDNighTzx10r | 6 points
No. I had one of the massive SP posts sitting in my mega list (in megadownloader) I copied the urls, encrypted them as in the OP, put em in JDL and its downloading all of the episodes individually (rather than 1 massive link)....so the episodes vary from like 50mb to 250+mb but it is downloading them all.
Ive attempted it with your link and 2 other links, all over 5gb and i get the error on all 3, even while trying 1 link at a time. :(
I was referring to the part where you received the error.

I dont understand what you're asking then.
the 3 files that are single links and over 5gb, still havent dl'd. but the single link SP episodes DL just fine (and its been over 5GB in total)
I add link about
Well, it works but as you said, i downloaded 5 gb and my bandwicht limit is 1gb, so it works, but now as you said, now i try to keep downloading its says "file temporarily unavailable" (using jdownloader 2) i will try what happens in a couple of hour.
i think that if someone create a website with 24/7 would be magnificent person.
[-] Valar_Morghulis7 | 2 points
yeah its working for me. So far Ive only gotten one link that got an error. Downloaded about a dozen others though....and im well passed the limit
[-] bisdakexplorer | 2 points
And I have no idea how do this :D
[-] AliJokeMode | 2 points
Got this error : Web access was not enabled for this link
I copy a link, i encrypt it, and i try to go to the encrypted link and it says that web access is not available for this link. What does that mean, and am i doing something wrong?
[-] AvidVideoGameFanatic | 3 points
Pretty sure it only works with download managers like JDL
[-] KaronteNoKami | 1 points
hope it works ever since the inception of mega.nz i've never seen the bandwidth quota messages till later this month and god i hate them
[-] AvidVideoGameFanatic | 1 points
Worked the first time for me, but every time after that I keep getting an error of "Temporarily Unavailable (shrcrypter.se)"
If you want, try to download a different file (another link), I do not really understand those errors, in some cases they do not let me download some files but with others they work fine.
[-] AvidVideoGameFanatic | 1 points
I tried a few different links. Same error.
I can't get shurcrypter to work. I paste the link of a bigt file like this one ant then I encrypt it but the new link doesn't work.
[-] AvidVideoGameFanatic | 3 points
Did you try using a download manager like JDL?
Is it a requirement or just a suggestion? I'd rather not use any programs so this site seems interesting
[-] AvidVideoGameFanatic | 2 points
It's a suggestion, I think? I haven't tried it without a manager, but the site does say
Remember that protected links will only be downloadable with a manager unless you activate the domain-lock protection (see advanced options)
You could try activating domain-lock protection.
You are absolutely right. I don't know how I missed that, sorry.
Thanks!
[-] AvidVideoGameFanatic | 1 points
Sorry, I'm not sure about where else to download it. Hope you end up finding a way to make it work for you tho.
I found they offer an ad free installer themselves and that one didn't trigger anything xD. Now I'm getting the error others are getting but I'll keep trying.
Thanks again
[-] AvidVideoGameFanatic | 2 points
Yeah, I've gotten those errors myself. It tends to only work some of the time.
I think I’ll continue with the switch on/off method until my provider allows dinamic IP
Thanks for the tip OP! The bandwidth limit in my neck of the woods has become ridiculously low, and the website you recommended is working as we speak.
[-] TJHookerWithAPenis | -4 points
The easiest way is to pause the download before reaching the limit, reset your connection (if your ISP assigns you a different ip every time you reconnect) or switch vpn exit nodes, then resume. This only works up to mega's 10GB limit in chrome (afaik it's lower in other browsers).
Well, but I think if you have static ip, when you reset your connection you will get the same ip.
[-] TJHookerWithAPenis | -1 points
You might be surprised to learn that I specifically stated the condition that your ISP has to issue a new IP on each connect for it to be true, and then I said that switching exit nodes on a VPN would do the same thing. But whatever, people like to downvote shit.
I understand that I also use sometimes a vpn but in some cases if you use a free vpn and other users use it, this might generate the same ip and it would be showing quickly with the limit without having reached 5GB, so if there is a way to avoid the change of use of vpn I would use it, each one decides which is the best way to download.

So they did it because it's posted elsewhere, even though it's correct, relevant to this post, and was not yet posted as a reply. And furthermore the sidebar isn't always visible (like on mobile) and the actual location of the answer in the sidebar is buried in the comments of a different linked post, which means it is entirely possible that someone might not have seen it or might have forgotten it exists.
I stand by my statement that people like to downvote shit, because in these circumstances it was entirely unfuckingnecessary.
Edit: CASE IN POINT
What about just paying?
Edit: paying for mega.
Why do you think snatched content is on Mega ? if they could afford a mega subscription they would've bought the content they want to download in the first place .
[-] Masonicbro | 8 points
LOL your saying that on a pirating site. Paying for anything defeats the purpose of why people are really here.
Paying to quickly and easily mass download pirated content? Ok, i guess I'm the outsider then.
$7/month for all the space I need and 60/MBps down, is not worth it? I fail to see how.
It’s not about speed. “Free content” is the essence of piracy, if you pay you’re not in the game :)

In simple terms, how does it work? How does it bypass the limit?

[-] n0197exe | 11 points | Dec 05 2017 18:24:09
Well, in reality that doesn't bypass the limit, what it does is that when encrypting the link, the final link will be with the url of the server on which the megacrypter is implemented making us believe that we are not downloading from "mega.nz"

I guess I'm lost too.
Is this to get around downloading files > 5GB
or
Is this to get around downloading > 5GB every X hours per IP
After skimming the github quickly it looks like the following is happening:
Implemented the MEGA json api in php
One of the features/abilities exposed via the json API is to create a temporary download url
Seems the loophole (not necessarily the intent of megacrypter) is that the temp download urls aren't/don't count against your IP quota
Didn't make it through all the code, but I'm guess after the temp mega download url is made available, some HTTP forwarding trickery is used to make it "look" like the link is being download from mydomain.xyz when in fact it is being downloaded from mega.nz
So ... if this works while hosted on some janky sometimes up website, it should theoretically work on a self hosted DO droplet or a self-spun local VM and skirt around the bandwidth limits. The traffic isn't being forwarded between you and mega, but (again, guessing) the http request/responses are so you're still downloading straight from mega even if it looks like you aren't. I'd be curious to see a packet trace on the traffic to see what the headers are saying is going on.
