I understand the symbolism and metaphors in the movie, so it's not a matter of "you need a high IQ to understand it or like it". It just jumps from one damn thing to another and portrays the main character as a dumb, subservient and useless character. Until the end of course, which erases that final action in favor of starting the process all over again for eternity. I've never felt angry watching a movie, until this one. I've felt bored, disappointed, and sad for movies, as far as negative views go. But this one left me legitimately angry with it by at least the third quarter of it.

If you love hamfisted metaphors galore in a movie that doesn't function on its own, then yes you will love this movie. It isn't even allegorical because the meaning isn't hidden AT ALL. She's pure and passive and virgin mary/mother nature because who the fuck else could she be. FFS, just in case you couldn't figure out who Cain and Abel are we kill one of them to spell it out for you.
