I've already installed CCCP can I use it as alternative to MPC-BE/MPC-HC and MadVR to view HDR properly?

You need MadVR to properly convert HDR to SDR, afaik

I followed these instructions for HDR content not too long ago and they didn't work with MPC-BE. Worked okay with HC.

That's very strange. It's the same guide I followed to setup MadVR for MPC-BE for myself.
