Thanks for sharing, I have a question about the format. Was really much space saved by compression on this?

I have no idea how to preview/stream while downloading like this. It seems like this type of distribution would be much nicer in a single mkv/avi file format that way we can use VLC to preview it and start watching before it is 100% done.

I believe Zippyshare only allows 200MB files, compressing in a multipart archive allows a file to split in a format the people are already used to dealing with.

It's not relevant here (mega can't see the files they store), but compressing and/or splitting also prevents the server from identifying the file based on its hash, which may reduce the chances of it being taken down.

I'm not actually compressing anything, I have the compression settings to "store" which actually only copies the file directly to an archive. I do it to split the files up as explained by 9fh7q3ga.
