Guy LeDouch here!
It was requested, and all I could get (the DVD's are extremely expensive/hard to find) were these web rips. Still enough to enjoy this great show!
EDIT Somehow I missed S1 in the files. It's fixed now and everything included.

Did someone request this?! The reason I ask is because I was looking for these just earlier this week. Holy crap.
Regardless, thank you! Can't wait to watch these.
Yep, this was a request, and I just happened to have them. Wish I had better copies, but seems no one has seen better copies.

Thanks Again.. seems others wanted it too

Yep, I watched one of the "best of" clips on Youtube and was like "I want to watch this again soon!"
I'd actually like to see the original one Takeshi's Castle, with subs, but I don't think those are available anywhere.
You can watch some episodes and clips on Youtube. Someone also uploaded huge chunks of MXC to Youtube but it's incomplete with episodes from a couple of seasons missing.
I really find myself wishing I'd bought the DVDs when they were super cheap, at one time the whole series was on sale for $15.
[-] KrangyKrangles | 2 points
Yeah, that's how it always is. You're like "I'll just get this later at a thrift store or something", then it turns out they're crazy rare and impossible to find.
Something semi-similar happened with early Hulu and a series called Denpa Shonen. They had high-quality video and subs on the whole first season (with a guy named Nasubi). Then they were bought out, got rid of the obscure stuff, and there is literally nowhere on the internet or on earth to get good quality rips of any of the shows. Wish I would've been proactive and found a way to grab them back when I was watching them.
You never think a show is just going to disappear off of the face of the earth like that.
Yeah it was pretty much like that. It was more these are super cheap on Amazon right now and they'll stay that way until I can afford it! That's why when Best Buy had the complete Reno 911! for $15 a couple years ago I didn't fuck around, they ended up having ship one to my house because they didn't have any at my local store.

It's telling me K: is invalid

I see DVDRIPS on torrent but not sure if better than this webrip.
[-] KrangyKrangles | 2 points
I grabbed the first episode to check. I don't have any real metric to work by, but the webrips look better to me on first glance.
Absolute worst case they're both equally bad (due to the rarity/lack of availability), so you might as well save the bit of space with these ones.

Thanks! I got S01 from torrent and rest from here. Will probably only watch few of the episodes.

I was very surprised to learn that "Vic Romano" is actually Takeshi Kitano, who is one of the biggest stars in Japan. He's extremely acclaimed as a comedian, actor, and filmmaker.
[-] WikiTextBot | 1 points
Takeshi Kitano (北野 武, Kitano Takeshi, born 18 January 1947) is a Japanese comedian, television personality, director, actor, author, and screenwriter. While he is known primarily as a comedian and TV host in his native Japan, abroad he is known almost entirely for his filmwork. With the exception of his works as a film director, he is known almost exclusively by the stage name Beat Takeshi (ビートたけし, Bīto Takeshi).
Kitano rose to prominence in the 1970s as one half of the comedy duo Two Beat, before going solo and becoming one of the three biggest comedians in the country.

The key is still invalid
I would double check that it was entered properly (using 64decode). I just ran it and was able to get in from another computer.
[-] YippieKiYea | 1 points
Hmm, I copied L and pasted into the basecode link, opened the Mega link, and then copied K into that and it tells me it's invalid.
You need to decode the Key as well. Hope that helps clear it up. Usually if you see a Key without a ! at the front, it needs to be decoded.

Hey just wanted to let you know that a few episodes were missing form this upload.
Specifically:
Season 4 Episodes 3, 7 and 8
Season 5 Episodes 4 and 13
Thanks! I'll double check when I get home. Sometimes the uploader just skips files.
Got the others going in now, but S5E4 apparently is a unicorn. Blocked anywhere and no copies I can find.

NICE!!!! I was a contestant on the "Almost live" episode, unfortunately they didn't use any of the footage of me and I'm only in the background of a few shots...:(
