There are online resources for sst files to give it subtitles, if you really want it. They are tiny and take only moments to download compared to the video.

Oh sure and sometimes I've gotten lucky in the past but it seems some shows simply aren't as easy as others. I've had several shows lately that I was excited to find and download only to discover there were simply no subs available that would sync with the release.

I may come back to it but these days I ask first and maybe sample episodes from each season before getting the whole thing. I had one recently where the first season was perfect and then the second couldn't sync for nothing.

It gets frustrating sometimes. And older series can be the worst since they didn't have laws to require captions at the time they were aired.

480p, and yes. I have dozens of TV shows in DVD form, and expanding every chance I get.
