They're almost identical except this one is about 1GB lower in size & has better (10bit) colour compared to 8bit on the other MRN rip. It ultimately comes down to preference. Some people like the PSA group more, incl. me, so I'd say you'll be fine with either of the two.

None. If you're using Jdownloader it can sometimes ask for a password for split ZIP files like these. Use Keka for macOS or RarZilla for Windows to extract.

I downloaded the entire archive 3 times from zippy. Something is corrupt. I can't even convince it to pull out the first 6 episodes with WinRar. Attempting mega but that'll take a lot more time because of the quota. I do appreciate the upload and will keep trying. I prefer 10bit, and I'm generally a PSA fan (a couple of their episodes have had entirely empty subtitle tracks lately)

WinRAR will not work well too. These are .001 format split ZIP files done with Keka. Can you try RarZilla for Windows & see if it works? Also give HJSplit a try, that one's multi-platform. Meanwhile, I'll reupload with 7z splits.

HJSplit was tried and failed as well and at that point I just deleted it. That's my normal fallback when something can't seem to join right. Quota sadly can't take a 4th attempt to just try and see. The Mega link worked flawlessly =)

Do you need a 10 bit monitor to see the difference? VLC on my macbookpro retina made 10 bit content look very washed out (maybe because most monitors are 8 bit?)

Washed out in comparison to 8bit version or washed out in general? You do need a 10bit monitor to utilise all the extra colours. It might also look washed out because of it's colour grading due to the show's dark nature.
