Any chance of a zippy upload?
[-] THAT_ONE_GUY_JESUS | 7 points
You can find a Zippyshare upload on Snahp.it

Thanks!

What is Zippy and why do people like it?
zippy is just a filehosting site and using softwarelike jdownloader lets u grab all the links at once (instead of having to visit the site over n over to grab each file) and it bypasses the 5gb/6hr download limit mega puts on free accounts
[-] doot_doot_doot_doo | 3 points
to expand upon this there is no cap or limit on how much an IP can download. The only caveats are the chunk sizes are a max of 200 MB ( recently up to 500 I believe) and depending on your internet, can be slow. Also, some uploaders can't/won't/don't want to split the file up into the chunks. It's relatively simple via 7zip but burdens the uploader a bit by needing double the space to hold the chunks as well as take time. Also could be slow uploading as well
But you can run concurrent downloads of the chunks, so sometimes you could actually finish faster downloading x 200MB chunks vs the big file at once from Mega
but how do you play them?
[-] doot_doot_doot_doo | 1 points
u use 7zip or winrar or the like to recombine the pieces
[-] MrTattyBojangles | 2 points
What he said. I've been having trouble downloading through MegaDownloader 1.7 lately, so I'm giving Zippyshare a try. Impressed so far.

Nice, thanks a lot!
I’ve been thinking why so high size for a x265? What are the specs, please?

I’ve been thinking why so high size for a x265?
It'll be because each episode is roughly 1 hour long (maybe more) and they all have multiple 5.1 audio tracks.
is there a way to delete audio tracks from a file? i guess i need this encode software they use?
[-] MrTattyBojangles | 11 points
Of course. Download "MKVToolNix GUI". Drag and drop the file you want and you'll see all the video/audio/subtitle tracks. You can untick the ones you don't want, then hit "Start Multiplexing". It's also great for delaying audio if it's out of sync or swapping out stereo audio with surround.
This doesn't re-encode the video/audio in any way, so depending on the file size it shouldn't take too long to finish.
thank you, im looking into possibly encoding a few blurays i havent seen on here so trying ot learn what i need, this helps greatly
[-] gazongagizmo | 3 points
Also give XmediaRecode a try. It gives you all the options you could ever need with encoding or recoding. You can also add or remove components (subtitles or audio tracks) without recoding the video.

could anyone tell me the zippy rars for the just the extras ? thanks ! (already got the TayTO release that's 70Gb) Edit : got them from mega in the end, easier that way.
[-] THAT_ONE_GUY_JESUS | 1 points
Would you guys choose this over the ~60GB AMZN WEBRip? Or would the 48GB x264 BluRay version actually be the best option? I know that HEVC has a file size advantage over H264 but 20GB vs 48GB?
If your machine is able to run HEVC, forget about x264 dude, forever! And empty space in your hd. Indeed I am worried why so high size for this one, for 1 season+extra in x265 20gb seems a lot. But I guess this is extreme quality so thanks to OP here!
[-] THAT_ONE_GUY_JESUS | 2 points
Yeah I can run HEVC perfectly fine on everything I own. It's just that I can't wrap my mind around the fact that a smaller video file could be better than a bigger one haha. I guess I'll just download it and try to compare it on my TV
I was skeptical too at first but for no reason. Now I only look for HEVC since quality is high and size is less than half so that my hard disk is happy too winwin. Let me know your experience btw
[-] THAT_ONE_GUY_JESUS | 3 points
If anyone cares, here's my amateur try on a screenshot comparison
This is between 1080p.AMZN.WEBRip.DD5.1.x264-KiNGS and this HEVC release. I honestly can't tell a huge difference
[-] MrTattyBojangles | 3 points
Definitely the HEVC version. The difference in quality compared to an x264 version is so minimal that some people can't even tell. And like /u/bert0ld0 says, it saves on hard drive space! Find some good encoders like UTR, embrace HEVC and never look back!
[-] whywhywhyisthis | 1 points
Choose the x264 BluRay, for quality. Also, I didn't see any 48GB, the 264 Blu rip posted here was 75GB.
[-] THAT_ONE_GUY_JESUS | 1 points
There is a 48GB version on Snahp.it. Decisions decisions...
[-] cantgohomewithoutyou | 1 points
Definitely go for this one. The larger file size for this particular release is due to higher bitrate and settings being used. The encoder RCVR at UTR is solid when it comes to standard quality releases. Everyone should definitely check out more of RCVR's releases.

Oh yeah, didn't think about that. Though nowadays the term 'tv' often includes streaming content since so much of it is going in that direction
