I haven't actually watched any of these, so if there are any problems just let me know.
I apologize for the ridiculous file sizes on some of these.
I included a version of Borat that has a separate subtitle track, but I would recommend you find a version with hardcoded subs because I think it is a better experience.

Thanks for the info.
Didn't hear about that.
It's only in America as I can read, so no regulations of that kind here in middle europe.
Not to sound like an ugly american, but what happens here in regards to the internet will effect the world. It matters regardless
[-] Jake548675 | 15 points
You are wrong, though. There are strong rules for net neutrality in the European Union, which are upheld by the European Court of Justice. This is fundamental, no government can change it. Sorry you elected president Orangutan.
we can put the public pressure on them.. gotta stop worrying about stupid Star Wars games and start flooding everywhere with stuff about Net Neutrality!!! call your senator, rep, paste all over social media. its up to US!!! this isnt BS! its fuckin serious and its true that we can change it. I really do believe that, I have to.
Anons will have the last laugh don't worry
We are worried because the isn't public awareness about the issue (outside communities like reddit of course), mainstream media isn't covering the topic and the few large tech companies that can help us by placing messages on their homepages (Google, amazon, NF) aren't doing much to help
Thank for the Studio Ghibli movies, and for Oldboys too, that movie is great!!! not the bollywood version
[-] kurosaki1990 | 7 points
not the bollywood version
There is bollywod version?
[-] MrTattyBojangles | 2 points
I'm only aware of the Hollywood version besides the original.
[-] MrTattyBojangles | 4 points
"They Look Like People" in the misc section needs a file extension added. I downloaded it and had to add ".mkv" in order for it to work.
[-] swine_flu_bird | 5 points
Thank you. It's fixed now.
E: It turns out a lot of these were missing file extensions. When I was renaming them I assumed the extension would add itself after the fact like it does in windows explorer. My bad.
[-] MrTattyBojangles | 1 points
Not a problem, glad I could help.
We're fighting it tooth and nail.
And yet it's not enough, we can't defeat this without massive public awareness like we did back in 2012 with SOPA & PIPA
Please in short, what will happen if net neutrality become a real thing?
ISPs can block what they want and would be able to charge you to access certain domains.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but it's mostly something americans have to worry about right now, we'll be fine in Europe or in most countries.
Yeah, that for sure! For now only though... I'm afraid that if this goes on in USA will become a thing in UE too. This can't be true, it's CENSORSHIP!

I am Canadian, I fear we will follow.
[-] mrhoundoom | 1 points
definitely, net neutrality was always a thing here in my country, never bothered me at all, instead we adapted, its a wrong concept true but i dont think its gonna have HUGE impacts as some people are saying, i guess we will have to wait and see, as an european honestly i dont care, its a fight thats has to be fought by the american people
What country do you live in ? Have you ever heard of someone doing something illegal on the internet before? (something much less legal than r/megalinks i mean) How did it go?
[-] mrhoundoom | 2 points
i live in portugal, and if you mean someone being presecuted by doing an illegal online crime, outside the occasional caught pedophile wich is a completely different case and context of situations, its practically unheard of.
This seems a lot like China censorship to me, who the hell allow this? Is USA still open and democratic or is it becoming a dictatorship?
read about it, great source material on this issue:

The US hasn't been a representative democracy for decades. It's an oligarchy run by a handful of people. Our politicians are going against the overwhelming majority of Americans wishes to fulfill corporate agendas.

they're already uploading Content on premium channels, what's the difference ?

Imagine if EA were your ISP..
its if it was NO LONGER A THING. ISPs will be able to decide what traffic (services) get to have preferred treatment.. so if you wanna use netflix instead of comcast VOD, you pay extra
dont let it happen. EDUCATE YOURSELF! CALL YOU REPRESENTATIVES! TALK TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW! SPREAD THE WORD! this isnt bs words and cliches, this is dead fucking serious!
Everyone seems to be a bit confused here. Net neutrality is what you want and it's the lack of it that will fuck you sideways. Canada already has net neutrality laws that they've actively enforced, ensuring that all internet traffic is treated the same. If you vote against net neutrality, you'll have ISPs blocking and shaping traffic in any way they see fit.
TL;DR: You want net neutrality and will be fucked without it.

No, it really is. Net neutrality is a good thing, not a bad thing. I think that maybe you should do a bit of extra reading. Thankfully, akkbar posted a few links that should be looked at so you understand that not having net neutrality is a bad idea.
Thanks, but now I’m a little bit confused. If it’s a good thing why all this debate against it?
[-] MathTheUsername | 1 points
Some people don't like the idea of the government controlling the internet. Some people also think the issue is overblown since we've only had net neutrality for the last 2 years. If it goes away, the internet will be back to the way it was from 1990ish - 2015.
Mostly it's the ISPs and government with dollar signs in their eyes wanting to obliterate net neutrality. Without it, they're allowed to slow down your connection to Netflix or YouTube. They can then turn around and tell you to give them extra cash so that you can actually use those websites again without watching videos at 360p. There would be no legal repercussions and complaints would mean nothing as they would be in their legal right to do so.
In the end, net neutrality is a good thing and anyone who says otherwise doesn't understand the issue at hand or stands to profit from the law not passing. If you want to keep using the internet as you have for years - and have extra clout to get your ISP in shit for breaking said law - then fighting for it is an important battle.
Basically, imagine your Internet plans having “addons” like this -
Streaming bundle: Gives access to high speed Netflix, Prime video, and 10 other streaming providers.
Steam access bundle: Unlimifed access to steam and game downloads.
Light browsing bundle: Access unlimited websites.
*Condifions and Fair Usage Policies Apply
That’s the future if net neutrality dies. It essentially becomes a cable TV connection of sorts.
[-] starkistuna | 1 points
Don't forget the Deluxe Torrent package allowing you to blindly download torrents at unlimited speed for $999 a month!
The answer about ISPs is correct but answers the question as asked wrong. Net Neutrality is what we've always had. If it's shut down and terminated then any internet traffic in the US can be interfered with and impeded. Netflix, YouTube, and Twitch will probably be affected fairly quickly after a grace period.
There are ita subs?
[-] swine_flu_bird | 1 points
For which one?
Someone
[-] swine_flu_bird | 1 points
I can link some italian subs if you would like.
Do you have Nausica's subs? Can i use VLC to see it?
[-] swine_flu_bird | 1 points
I added the ITA sub file in the Nausicaa folder. Use VLC to add the track. It looks like they sync up well but you'll have to be the judge of that.
Thanks. If you have some other Ghibli's stuff is appreciated, expecially x265
VLC won't start Nausicaa. I downloaded it twice, is it my problem?
[-] swine_flu_bird | 1 points
I'm really not sure why that's happening. I can't download it myself to see if it works because I don't have a pro account. I'll get back to you if I figure something out.
Downloaded Borat and Bruno but I can't even add the .mkv because my computer says file can't be found. Same thing happens when I tried to delete them. Not sure if I'm the only one with this issue.
[-] swine_flu_bird | 1 points
Heh, wonder how long these'll stay up. Especially with Ghibli content in them and no obfuscation of the links.
Are the studio ghibli movies subbed or dubbed?
[-] swine_flu_bird | 1 points
Should all be subbed if I remember right

Thanks!
(btw, we like to keep things real simple here and easy to use. That's why there's a Rule 4 about titles. Your commentary is interesting, but it doesn't belong in the title. )
